National Institute for Research on Socioeconomic Impacts of Diseases and Systemic Risks

The National Institute for Research on the Socioeconomic Impacts of Diseases and Systemic Risks – SYRI for short – is built on strengthening mutual ties and scientific cooperation between Masaryk University, Charles University and institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. The National Institute obtains data on social processes that accompany crisis and risk situations such as pandemics. Based on this, it formulates recommendations on how to solve the problems.
