Jakub Míšek is an assistant professor at the Institute of Law and Technology of the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University. His main field is the protection of privacy and personal data. It also focuses on the regulation of public sector information and open data, data governance and research data. Since 2019, he has been a member of the breakdown commission of the Office for Personal Data Protection. Since February 2015, he has been working at the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic as a member of the Open Data project team. Its main tasks are open data licensing, open data and personal data protection, and the creation of legislative proposals for open data in the Czech Republic.
