Alice Koubová is a Czech philosopher working at the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Her topics include ethics of care, ethical culture of organizations, performativity, embodied knowledge and the relationship between culture and science. Since 2020, she has been the coordinator of the AV21 Strategy research program entitled Resilient Society for the 21st Century, which is a continuation of her SYRI research topic focused on the conditions and ability of communities and institutions to face sudden crises. Alice Koubová is the recipient of the Otto Wichterle Prize, the Josef Hlávka Prize, the AVČR President's Prize and the Libellus Primus Prize.
